Senior Product Manager - Europe
Our Client who is a destination management company based in Europe is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join their European team. This company is recognised as one of the world's leading travel companies who offer travel services worldwide. They have been established for over 100 years and are continually striving to develop and lead their busy further each year.
They are in search of an ambitious and motivated person to join their Product team as Senior Product Manager. This will be developing global products for non-flight tourist products.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate key skills in the Product area and support Product Managers and assistants all within this team.
The role of Senior Product Manager will include and you will be responsible for:
* Building and maintaining the worldwide hotel and land service portfolio
* Increasing revenue and optimising yield and capacity management where possible
* Set and outline key product goals against overall strategy and roadmap
* Bring on new product and development processes to encourage new partnerships
* Build new and existing relationships with clients and potential suppliers
* Driving new initiatives throughout the team and business to enhance performance
* Negotiation and assistance in securing new product with team to be given
* Management of a team both remotely and in the office
* Coaching and mentoring of all Product team to encourage development
Skills and Experience needed for the role of Senior Product Manager:
* Demonstrated success in delivering product on time and on budget
* Experience Product Management experience in a travel business, ideally online
* Ambitious and dynamic with drive
* Highly educated, ideally to MBA level or equivalent
* Strong leadership and team building skills
* Good Negotiator with strong persuasion skills
* Professional and reliable
* Ability to work soley or as part of a team and able to give a hands on approach
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills is English
* German or Spanish language is highly desirable
* Computer literate with understanding of main Microsoft products
Ideally my client is looking for a highly enthusiastic self starter who can start ASAP.
This would suit someone with a solid product background and strong management experience.
